«Weißer Nebel» («White Mist») is a Ukrainian-German performative collaboration created during a residency with the support of Theater Bremen.

A performative work about the experience of loss and about how a person keeps living when the world splits into a «before» and an «after». The project brings together two dimensions: the experience of young people in Ukraine, for whom loss has become part of everyday life, and the experience of Ukrainian women who were forced to emigrate to Germany and who live through the same events from a distance — as if through glass.

The scenographic axis of the work is a long white road made of fabric — a metaphor for transition, for prolonged movement, and for the mist through which fragments of personal stories emerge. A raven appears in this space — an image of premonition and vigilance: it does not intervene, but observes.

The finale is a movement forward: the white mist no longer conceals but opens the way. People keep walking — not forgetting, but carrying onward what shapes their inner strength.

«Weißer Nebel» is about presence within absence. About a mist in which, little by little, you see further than you did yesterday. About a memory that does not halt movement, but becomes its light.
