Duration

«Duration» is a short video performance about the search for a place not in space, but in time.

«We are searching for a place not in space, but in time. And only by accepting our own transience can we feel duration.»

The video performance was filmed in the greenhouse of a botanical garden. Bodies appear in a space that does not belong to the human being, search for support, and gradually find a shared breath — the moment when separate bodies begin to move in a single rhythm, like one organism.

Then the harmony cannot withstand duration: movement falls apart, the bodies «age» in motion, finding beauty in instability. In the finale, the space breathes on its own. The human being and nature no longer stand against each other — someone is sitting, someone is lying down, but everyone breathes in the same rhythm.

Duration here is not about endlessness. It is the moment that does not pass.
